On December 24, 2024, Ms. Thanphicha Theeraratchanon, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics 2 (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), Chairwoman of the Working Group on Agricultural Production Volume Data Development for Plants in the Northern Region, along with Mr. Chaisak Wuttisak, Director of ROAE12 (Nakhon Sawan), Vice Chairwoman, jointly organized the 2nd/2024 Working Group Meeting via Zoom Meeting online, with the Director of Agricultural Information Division, ROAE1,2,12 acting as the Secretary. Representatives from the Agricultural Information Center, OAE (Central) and the Working Group from all 17 northern provinces attended the meeting.

Objective: To jointly consider the planting area, harvesting area, and agricultural products, 10 products, including:
- Second-season rice, 2024 (planting year 2023/24)
- Animal feed corn, batch 1,2, planting year 2023/24
- Soybeans, batch 1,2, planting year 2023/24
- Industrial cassava, 2024
- Longan, 2024
- Lychee, 2024
- Rambutan, 2024
- Durian, 2024
- Mangosteen, 2024
- Longkong, 2024

The meeting resolution approved the initial data on the planting area, harvesting area, yield, and yield per rai of agricultural products, except for the types of products and provinces, namely durian products in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Lampang, Phrae, Phichit, Uthai Thani, and Phetchabun, which resolved for the responsible OAE to coordinate to visit the area to review and verify the accuracy and significance of the data. Including adjusting the explanation of the reasons for the increase/decrease in some products, some provinces, together with the provincial and district agricultural offices, according to the opinions of the working group before sending the said information to the Agricultural Information Center for consideration. After that, the secretariat will make a resolution to circulate the working group to approve and certify the new information again within January 2025.

All information that has been approved by the working group will be submitted to the Subcommittee on Agricultural Product Production Volume Data Quality Development, Plants, for consideration and approval before using the said information to create unity in the information.
